Here are 58 working information stations, gathered from 12 countries. The busiest are Deutschlandfunk | DLF | MP3 128k, Deutschlandfunk | DLF | OPUS 24k, Deutschlandfunk | DLF | AAC 192k and 国际新闻. Every one of them was tested, so you will not hit a dead stream.

Most information stations come from Germany (13), Ukraine (9), Switzerland (4), Ecuador (4), China (3) and France (3). They broadcast mainly in german, spanish and ukrainian. Stations tagged information often carry related tags too — most commonly news, music, culture and pop — so the same station may appear on several genre pages.

17 of these stations stream at 192 kbps or better, the highest being Радіо П'ятниця at 320 kbps, which is worth choosing if you are listening on speakers rather than a phone. By format the mix is MP3 (35), AAC (13) and AAC+ (8).

Genre tags only tell you so much: two information stations from different countries can share a label and almost nothing else. That is worth using rather than working around.
